About ITC CARES
ITC CARES is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization that prioritizes patient welfare and works alongside local communities, educational institutions and medical professionals to meet the dental health needs of remote, rural, and under resourced communities through the execution of multidisciplinary projects, humanitarian missions and various dental continuing education programs/courses.
Objectives

To apply scientific principles and the most up to date dental research to the provision of oral health care to underserved communities across the globe.

To act as a primary dental care provider for underserved populations worldwide.

Empower communities and individuals to develop healthier habits of preventive oral health care.

Raise awareness about the importance of oral health to underfunded communities that lack the adequate resources, tools, and education required to meet the needs and demands of communities in need of dental health related services.

Increase access to dental health related services to underprivileged communities.

Comprehensive Extraction and Alveolar Presentation with Autogenous Blood Products Live Patient Program
JOIN USJoin Us As a Dental Student
Dental Students have the opportunity to volunteer in any of the following courses:
Dental Student volunteers lead health education workshops and assist licensed Dentists to provide dental care to rural community members.
ITC Seminars faculty will provide dental screening training to all dental student volunteers.
Volunteers will then work alongside staff to screen patients in the community. This screening day will allow ITC CARES staff to better organize the dental clinic based on the urgency of the needs presented. Only licensed healthcare professionals will be able to perform procedures. However, volunteers will have an interactive role by participating in tasks that include, instrument sterilization, chairside-assisting licensed dentists in performing dental surgical procedures, taking X-rays, delivering post-op care instructions, and conducting educational workshops.
Dental Health Education: Volunteers have the opportunity to organize and lead dental health education workshops, which include teeth brushing, flossing, fluoride treatments and dental care.
